Martin Arkus has over 25 years of experience in the air and ground medical transport industry. His distinct background in operations, patient care, government relations, leadership, and strategic growth is instrumental in expanding Apollo MedFlight. Marty has vast experience with several companies in the air medical industry, including previous roles with GMR, Med Trans, Air Methods, and Rocky Mountain Helicopters. He has worked with healthcare systems across the United States to establish transport programs, build referral patterns, prevent patient leakage to other systems, and improve communications. Since joining Apollo, he has been instrumental in establishing partnerships with legacy programs. He has additionally served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Association of Air Medical Services. Marty received his Bachelor of Science and MBA from Liberty University, holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Ohio State’s Max Fisher Business School, and is certified as a Certified Medical Transport Executive.
